🧪 How to Test an Unreleased iOS App Using TestFlight

What is TestFlight?

 TestFlight is Apple’s official beta testing platform. It allows developers to distribute pre-release versions of iOS apps to testers, gather feedback, and fix issues before the public launch.

✅ Steps to Join and Test an App

1. Install the TestFlight App
   • Go to the App Store and download TestFlight.
   • Open the app once installed.
2. Accept the Invitation
   • You’ll receive an email or public link from the developer. It looks like this:
      https://testflight.apple.com/join/xxxxx
   • Tap the link from your iPhone or iPad. It will open in the TestFlight app.
3. Install the App
   • Tap “Accept” and then “Install” to download the beta version of the app.
   • The app icon will appear on your home screen, just like a normal app.
4. Start Testing
   • Open the app and use it as you normally would.
   • To report issues, take screenshots (TestFlight will offer to send feedback), or open the TestFlight app and tap “Send Feedback”.
5. Keep the App Updated
   • Test builds expire after 90 days or when a new one is released.
   • Open TestFlight periodically to update the app.
